With a keen focus on both on-site and remote users, my primary objective was to elevate internal communication within the Valode & Pistre agency through the creation of a dedicated internal website. The meticulously crafted user flows were designed not only to cater to user needs but also to dismantle communication barriers, fostering a more seamless and efficient exchange of information.
How can we introduce a tool that enhances communication flow among diverse stakeholders and team members, thereby increasing work efficiency?
Valode & Piste is a dynamic agency with over 200 team members involved in more than 30 projects. Architects, designers, engineers, and artists collaborate both on-site and remotely. In such a dynamic work environment, there was a high demand for a tool that facilitated efficient information exchange.
User Experience and Design system
After gathering the diverse users' needs, I initiated the development of this site by outlining user pathways and flows, followed by meticulous planning of functionalities. It became evident that a design system needed to be developed to ensure a cohesive style guide in alignment with the agency's identity. All components were created based on atomic design principles. Prototypes were crafted for each page and feature, and rigorously tested.
In close collaboration with the development team and the IT department, another critical objective was to ensure the secure publication of the intranet site on the company's network. This intranet site exemplified our dedication to enhancing internal communication, thereby fostering improved collaboration and efficiency within the agency.
